Marescialla

This is the sort of camphoraceous woody scent that just doesn’t get produced nowadays - it is absolutely gorgeous. The opening is very strong terebinth/turpentine and citrus, has a real nineteenth-century vibe to me (quite medicinal), but then it becomes all woods and moss. Not a blind buy but if you like old-fashioned scents and/or woods and moss, it is unmissable!

The true beauty of this fragrance is in the dry down, you’re left enchanted like a wizard has tapped you with a magic wand or a priestess has enveloped you in spells from a magic book found deep in the forest. Very unique scent, not for the feint of heart, do not blind buy if you are not adventurous

Unable to give a Santa\ Novella fragrance to my wife at Christmas, she was delighted to receive the Marescialla just recently.I reminded her of visits to Florence and your shop. Plus she loved the woody essence.
