Opoponax Eau de Cologne takes its name from a resin native to Somalia used in Egyptian and Babylonian traditions. Opens with lemon and bergamot. Rose, lavender and opoponax resin at the heart. Patchouli and tolu balm at the base. Aromatic and fougère.

Opoponax resin is balsamic and spiced, similar in character to myrrh. Used in purification rites in African traditions and documented historically as a fumigant and flavouring agent, it has been traded across the Red Sea and the Mediterranean since antiquity. This Eau de Cologne opens with lemon and bergamot, with rose, lavender and opoponax resin at the heart, and patchouli and tolu balm at the base.
