• Description

  Shorai, Japanese for future, is a karesansui-style landscape of stones, a waterfall and a tea pavilion in Florence, reflecting the sister city relationship between Florence and Kyoto established in 1965. Città di Kyoto draws on its botanical character, carrying a composition of green tea, bamboo, cherry blossom, white flowers, iris, sandalwood and musk.

• How to use

  Place on a heat-resistant surface before lighting. On first use, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface. Trim the wick to 3-5 mm before each use and keep it centred. Do not burn for more than three hours at a time. Extinguish with a candle snuffer. Never leave unattended, and do not move while lit or while the wax remains liquid.
